My Name is Khan” is a film about the life of a Moslem in San Francisco with the background 9/11 tragedy. Rizwan Khan (Shahrukh Khan) who has Aspergers married with a widow, named Mandira (Kajol). Mandira is a Hindu.

Khan’s family tragedy occurred when terrorism destroyed the WTC on September 11 2001. Islamic identity had destroyed all happiness and integrity of Khan’s family.

Mandira ultimate Khan, he could go home if he could meet the U.S. President and openly communicate to the public: “My name is Khan, I am not a terrorist.” Because of deep love to Mandira, Khan left the house, trying to meet the President to says, “My name is Khan, I am not a terrorist”.

In his journey to meet the President, Khan was accused of being a terrorist and thrown into a terrible prison.

Faith and Film Critics
This film story line that is able to confuse the audience, but when we look at this movie from the beginning must not be confused. There are several scenes in this movie seem deliberately lengthen, but for the drama lovers that would not disrupt of the entire movie.

For a difference and mutual respect among fellow religious peoples, the film “My Name is Khan” reasonable thumbs up because it gives a message of how differences do not need to be solved by violence.

Khan was a minority who has Aspergers can properly convey the peace message in this movie.
